Hi Candy,
I don't know if anyone here has mentioned this to you, but there is Xanax XR. It is a time-released version of the regular Xanax.
I have found that I do so much better taking the XR version than the regular Xanax.
Of course, there is not a generic for the XR so it is rather pricey, but ask your pdoc about it and see if it is for you.
