Here is the Us we have a lot of non profit charities like Goodwill and Salvation Army that are well known for accepting household goods and clothing donations. These items are often resold to help those in need or programs for those in need. In exchange, people who donate can claim it as a tax deduction. win-win for all and keeps junk out of landfills.
