I was on a lot of SSRIs and tricyclics until my pdoc decided to put me on Lamictal instead. I don't know how many times I was manic. The last time some idiot put me on an SSRI thought I should be treated for borderline instead. I ended up with no sleep and sweating at all hours of the day and night. Thankfully I got another pdoc who read my chart.
