I have a gigantic problem. I wake up intoxicated from my landlord's marijuana and cigar smoke. It leaks into my apartment from his since is my neighbor and that's the way air travels in the building. All the smoke seems to collect in my tiny studio apartment and make me sick and involuntarily high. I cannot afford to move and I am disabled and incapable of moving without lots of help that I don't have. Last time I spoke to my landlord about this, he asked me to move, but after looking for 12 hours a day for 2 months I gave up. I found nowhere in my price range. I am on the section 8 and disabled housing lists but they are years and years long. Can anyone think of any solution to this problem? A better way to talk to my landlord? Any other solution?

I very much enjoy NOT being addicted to drugs, and have been sleeping in strange places away from home in order to stay unaddicted, but without going into additional stories this is becoming a big problem.... I am only in my 30's and dream of a better future.

...Landlord says he cannot smoke outside because of the kids in our area and in other parts of the house. Smoke goes in my direction and apparently not the kids direction much.
