I'm wanting to work for a research centre and am writing up my CV but I have at least 10 years that I can't really account for. Severe depression meant that a one year degree took me about 5 years to finish. I had to abandon a Masters degree I started because I lost the ability to read (depression and meds). For a year or two all I managed to do was bead. I worked in a shop for several years but it seems better to not even include that. For the last few years I have had part time work and have improved a lot but I don't know how to explain the preceding decade. My academic record (from before) is really good - cum laude, etc etc. Can anyone assist?
