This medication had no effect on me at all (I was on 60mg, I think). I was prescribed this when the SSRI I had been on (citalopram) caused me to wake up every other hour. It was supposed to help me sleep as well as help with my depression. It did neither of those things. My depression actually got worse again. Ended up switching back to a different SSRI (sertraline) which was much better for me.
