You can set up a "meeting" on your phone to write down notes and remind you of things. For example, let's say you need to remember to pay your mortgage bill. Then make a meeting called "pay mortgage bill" and set it for the date/time you want. Then change the calendar settings on your phone to send an "alert" every time your "meeting" comes up. You can also tell your phone to send an alert every day for X days before the meeting starts.

I do this for important things.

I used to have Andriod, so I know you can do it with the Google Calendar app.

I recommend the Google Calendar app over the default calendar on your phone. Google Calendar backs everything up to the Google server in case something happens. Sometimes the default calendar is s*** and deletes things. IDK why
Paying bills is something I am very strict with. I budget like you wouldn't believe. I think really my main issue is where I put things. I think I put it 'here' and it's actually 'there.' That type of thing.
