I've been on geodon since 2010. There was a short while where I tried latuda and that failed so i went back on geodon. I take 40 mg in the AM and 240 mg in the PM. The FDA limit is 160 mg, but the actual limit is 330 mg (found that out in the psych ward). My pdoc had to appeal the denial by my insurance so i could get the 240 mg at night, that was a big fiasco.

Anyways, I really like geodon. Make sure you start off low and go up slowly. The second time i was on it my old pdoc increased it too fast and i ended up having 2 seizures. This is the third time i'm on geodon. Don't have any side effects from it, just makes me tired.

I take saphris too along with it. Seems to help with the agitation as well.
