So, it's totally about what someone identifies themselves as. Don't assume and project a term towards someone because it could be misgendering them in one case or mislabeling them in another.

But what I have surprisingly learned recently is that there are many terms that I personally would have never used that I guess have been reclaimed and people do identify with.

Today I learned that "Dykes on Bikes" is a real and wonderful organization. I would have never said that about anyone. But they have chosen to reclaim the term.

Dara Hoffman-Fox did a video part of which was identifying as Queer, I think that's current. I'm not sure what Dara identified as previously.
