Hey there! Okay, update.

I intended to take the piercing out just before the interview but I legitimately forgot. In that interview, I asked point blank if I needed to remove the piercing in which they said absolutely not. The internship is at the department of corrections (jail) and they, oddly, have a rather lax dress code in regards to hair/piercings, etc.

I ended up going to a second interview, in which, I also forgot to take it out (again, I never take it out so its not "habit, and i've only changed the balls like 2x ever). There was no comment on it but I did also notice that my ears sit back in a position to where head on, you can't actually see the piercing.

I still feel that traditionally, the piercing may be a bit taboo, but gratefully in this case - it was totally fine. Thanks for the opinions though! And, btw, I got the intership
