Hi. So I score very high in an autism test. It said Asperger, but probably HFA because I was a late talker. I even flap my hands, but I do this only when alone because I get an overwhelming feeling that my hands are dirty or something's on them. Or at least that's why I think I do it lol. But anyway, I don't understand exactly what is meant by not being able to read people's facial expressions. I really have no social skills and am terrified to talk to people face to face, especially three or more. But I'd like to think that I can tell when someone is angry, or happy, or puzzled, or even if they don't want to talk to me. I'm very very perceptive and sensitive. So much so that I easily get sensory overloaded and need to quickly escape. So does being able to read people's facial expressions mean I don't have autism? I'm really confused by this. Thanks!!
