If you have a restraining order on him - you cannot be around him either unless you first get the restraining order removed - but be sure you really want that done before doing so because sometimes there is a "waiting period" before you can put another restraining order on him. Until you feel safe doing that - just do what you need to do to keep you and the kids stable - physically, financially, emotionally, spiritually, all of it will help balance you out - get as much healthy social interaction with others as possible too - even if its just going out to the park and watching the kids play
