I think we all need to realise that. Depending on your dads age it could be a generation thing. Also some people are just horrible at the touchy feely emotion stuff, it has nothing to do with you.

My dad sucks at saying anything positive. He is not shy about the negative. Yes it bugs me but he isn't going to change so I live with it.
