Yeah, this is a short term t I have hired for a very specific purpose and it isn't necessary to get into the DID stuff for it. I just want to do the specific thing I need to do right now and don't want to spend time or money explaining something that isn't relevant to the current thing.
I do actually know this t from a long time ago. We first saw her as a minor, and she involved child protection agencies and had us removed from home. So there is some inherent trust and background knowledge with her.
But who knows if she believes in DID or not... not all Ts do, and I really don't want to detract from what we currently need with discussion and angst (on her part) about DID. I did tell her I 'experience dissociation'. And we don't always remember to say 'I' when we are talking about the group rather than ourselves individually. It will be what it will be.
