heres what I mean by diagnosed in this situation....I had a few sessions where I was constantly switching from one alter to another because of the same trigger. After one such session my therapist said to me... you have the kind of system that has a revolving door. (in other words a treatment provider told me what one of my ....symptoms... was just like when sitting with a medical doctor and you sneeze and dont know what a sneeze is the doctor says "that was a sneeze, do you sneeze often?")

I didnt have very many of these triggers that opened my "revolving door" but those I did made things a lot easier because it was just a matter of locating the pattern \ triggers and taking care of that, which resulted in those alters naturally integrating \becoming one with me. my alters when more than one handled the same triggers didnt fight/argue over who would be the one to do that, they just automatically did their part of taking care of the same trigger by "revolving" from one alter to the next until the triggering problem that caused then to take control was taken care of.
Thanks for this!
