Since hot air rises, if it's not too uncomfortable, it would be the coolest to stick near the floor!
I'm not saying sleep on the floor but if there's a way to make it comfortable, it WILL be a few degrees cooler near the floor. I've done it so I know.....but thankfully not too often.
