Junior cat really covered himself in glory this morning around 1 am - getting him in the carrier required me to 1) disassemble the bed, only to have him run off, 2) turn the sofa on its side, only to have him escape, and 3) to life a piece of furniture that I doubt was meant to be lifted by a single person. I held it up with one hand and grabbed him with the other.

He then serenaded the neighbors, the cabbie, everyone at the airport, and my fellow passengers with a lengthy, repetitious list of his grievances.

He is now in the kitchen, being spoiled by my mother's housekeeper, and looking smug.
