I think the dog is buried here. When emotional problems are made into medical terms, they will be treated as such. The human aspect will be missing. All psychiatrists should have to go through a personal therapy either they feel they need it or not. They have to feel how it is to be the "one down" in that particular relationship to be able to stay with their patients later on.
