Thanks for sharing this with us, I had read this too, perhaps we hit on many of the same sites, I also have read a lot of books on this and the connection(s) to depression, fatigue, etc. it agitates me that the docs I have had won't try some of the thyroid treatments, just telling me "everything is within normal limits".
Years ago I had a gyn. that after he saw getting pregnant for me was slower than others, he tested my husband and I for different things that can cause this, after ruling out all things on my side, he said even though he saw the test results of my thyroid function was "within normal limits", he didn't rule everything by what the lab calls "within normal limits", so he said he would consider trying to up my thyroid function, it had worked for many woman who were already 30 and more that were starting their family later than most, only to fine how much fertility starts to wane with age.
I wish I stilled lived there, I would have continued with him as my doc but we had to move after my baby (now 18 yrs old) was born.
Excuse my ramblings, just wanted to thnak you for sharing the info, and I also want to remind others, if you happen to come across sites that relate to the original post, please feel to add to the replies here.
Thanks
