I have just had a visit from my psychiatric nurse. While she was here I had 3 phonecalls from creditors, she is fitting us in with a free solicitor through the mental health team so that he can get them off our backs, halve the money we owe hopefully and get them to accept minimum payments for the owed amount.
Our bank took our cards off us, whilst there was enough money in there to cover everything, direct debits etc, turned the direct debits away and charged us £120!! We will now get the charges refunded, be better off and not have menacing calls every day three or four times. sigh.......
Also she suggested I write a letter to my mum asking her nicely to give me some space as she keeps calling me and I have to keep giving excuses which in return makes me guilty and anxious.
My mum has put me through emotional abuse and had an affair with my abuser for years, I just can't handle her right now. Although
I am expecting a phone call trying to make me feel guilty or a letter, I need to put down boundaries and look after myself first. My mum called while my nurse was here!!!!Can you believe that?
Just had to put this down, I feel better in a way now, knowing I am not going to have to make excuses anymore. My family don't want to see her at all, I can't carry that either right now.
sorry for rambling, Jinny xoxoxoxoxo
