my internal system found other less obvious to the public, ways to show their differences without calling attention to each other, so that their existence and secrets were not told.
Very very true. We did, too- totally afraid of being noticed. Even dressed down to blend in. But when you get this old @48, we kinda don't care anymore. So very tired of the effort it takes to appear normal even though we always come across as lacking and abnormal. We are in the middle of another life change- who's to be in charge? Like always, at another crossroad to a different life path. The last one gave up, or was actually voted out of office. My closet has a his and her side and its just me.

Ya I wear a unform to work that gets coated (literally) with mud and dust. Even when I'm not dirty I can't stand wearing it. It seems the fems are totally clothes crazy, an outfit for everything, whatever. It helps not being in school either, like 28 years ago.
Thanks for this!
