Also no option for me here - it never crossed my mind until I saw a dictaphone on his desk one session - I can't remember if it was on or not (unusual for me but perhaps it had been an intense hour), which I have since meant to ask him about. I considered it afterwards but decided it could impose on our sessions whether I did it secretly or if I asked. I just give myself reflection time afterwards instead. It's best that way.
