Hate to admit this but I feel a bit anxious about relatives coming to my place today. Apart from my core family, other relatives are fake. And no, it's not that I am being overly sensitive because my sister and and my mom feel the same way, but not like me, they can handle their feelings well. I hope I won't say anything bad today. Last year, two of my relatives sat on a sofa where one of my cat was sleeping on it. One of them pushed away my cat (and not in a gentle way) while saying "shuh". I couldn't hold my tongue and said "you don't shuh him, you are sitting on his sofa". I smiled as politely as possible while saying this but still things got awkward after that. Please wish me luck today.
