I put my phone on record and leave it in bag.
I often forget things said in session because I would be worrying about forgetting. Recording relieves me of self imposed pressure and I'm more present.
I got used to hearing my awful voice and being able to hear emotional tone via recording helps.
Still deliberating on if I should transcribe my recordings for myself, or stick with the brief session notes I jot down (without using the recording) after.
