Have you considered therapy? You may not have full blown major depressive disorder or meet the criteria for any mental illness but you have some issues it sounds like could be improved on.
Everyone has their own trials and tribulations in life. No one struggle is more or less important (unless maybe it's the welfare or mental health of your child). You have a right to feel sad. It's a natural emotion to something happening in life you don't like. It sounds like you may be struggling with self esteem issues and some isolation. That is a valid reason to feel sad. Your needs are important to you and your feelings are valid. Just because some people have it really hard doesn't mean you should ignore yourself. Try talking to someone or maybe some of your family.
I have huge struggles with self esteem. I also struggle with my appearance. I hope you find a way to resolve your feelings and have self love and kindness to yourself.
