But underfunding results in waiting lists pretty much across the board, sadly. Including surgery, GP appointments and midwives, for example.
Of course it's different for emergencies, but it affects everything.
I personally don't think waiting lists themselves are a problem, but if they're too long, the overall costs are very high as conditions worsen.
