So, my pdoc is intending to replace Latuda with Abilify, and my recent heart palpitations were possibly the combination of the two meds (according to my pdoc), so Latuda is still being reduced so I can get off of it relatively quickly. My palpitations have pretty much gone away (thank goodness!!).

I started out with 120 mg of Latuda for several years (maybe 3-4 years?). For three weeks, I took 60 mg of Latuda. Now, I'm on 30 mg of Latuda. I've gotten sleepy and sometimes mildly depressed (VERY mild, just kind of lacking joy and feeling tired mostly). I know my pdoc relaly should wean me off more slowly, but if it's causing me the palpitations (and possibly high blood pressure, too), I want to get the heck off of it ASAP.

I can't wait to be off of it. Latuda was a great med for me for several years, but now it's time for something new (my insurance won't cover it, and I honestly think it stopped working). I had to take it late at night with a large snack in order to avoid side effects. Now, after I get off of it, I think losing weight and controlling my acid reflux will be easier due to not having a late night snack.
