I have found over the years that there are always critics of my life. Those who will not agree with what I do or what I think.

There are some people who I have found that is all they do is criticize. When I encounter those type of people, I tend to hold little value in their criticism since it seems to me that is what they thrive on & usually don't have any substancial basis for their criticism.

There are some people who actually do have valuable criticism that is based on logical facts. Those people criticize where it is appropriate & those are the people who I am willing to listen to.

That is where the control issue comes in. I am in control of what criticism I am willing to listen to & accept. The valuable criticism, I can use to better myself where I need to. The criticism that is just thrown out because it's what they like to do, I choose to discard.

Because of this, I am in control of my life & the criticism I find value to & that which I can throw away.

It is important for each of us to be in control of ourselves & accept the criticism that will be of value to our lives & throw away that which is hurtful. When we do this, then we are always in control of our critics instead of them being in control of us.

I hope you can find the strength to get the control you need of your life so you can stop others from being in control of you.
