my wife and I who have been married now for 5 year's, attended a wedding this pat weekend. everything was going good for me feelings wise. until they got to the in sickness and health part. I broke down, shaking uncontrollable and crying. you see because when I was marying my wife to be, what I thought when I uttered the words in sickness and health, I was selflessly thinking of a cold or the flu at worst, but now that I am diagnosed with a mental illness, I find it hard to look at my wife and all that I have put her through because of it and not knowing it at the time. my question is, has anyone ever felt like this, and what can I do to make up for my years of inability's and make it up to her?
