I've gained weight from a few drugs. Last one was Risperidone. It had me craving nothing but sweets and lots of them. I'm not usually a sweets person but some meds have me craving nothing but sweets. I lived off Rice Crispie treats for a week recently. I'm the kind of person who always eats what they want, when they want. I've never had much self-control in regards to food. Usually it's not too much of a problem. Sometimes I eat what I want and don't gain weight, but when meds cause cravings, I lose the battle. I need to work on my self control.... Is there a med for that?

You're smart enough to know not to keep going to the fridge or eat so many sweets.....so I guess you have a self control problem too eh? i don't have any suggestions that you probably haven't thought of on your own unfortunately.

I'm afraid I'm a bit of a tubbo right now too. My bikini modeling days are over. I won't be on the cover of sports illustrated anymore. It's distressing.

A few of us joined a little diet group.... There is a thread here. You are welcome to join us and try to shed a few of those pounds. If your meds work for you and it's only the added weight which has you concerned, a good healthy diet is the way to go. Or you could embrace and accept the weight, you have that option too. Whatever you decide, I support you.
