If I have carbs (like toast) in the morning, it sets the tone for the day. I keep at any kind of food I can get, but mostly bread, potatoes, etc. I find that when I only have veggies in me, I lack a full heavy feeling that my body and mind crave. I could eat lots of cabbage soup for example, until I am swimming in bloated fullness, but it still lacks the carb feeling. I don't eat hardly any sugar, cookies, cakes or treats of that sort. I do choose a lot of dairy. Dairy with veggies and carbs like noodles really makes me feel good. I have been trying to put more veggies then noodles in my salads and casseroles, alfredo etc- to balance this out. I love veggies, salads, garlic, cream soups, etc - but carb in all of those things.

:P So ya, carbs for that satiated feeling.
