I apologise if this is in the wrong category...yet again.

I have been diagnosed with generalised anxiety disorder. I am now taking Propranolol 40mg. A few weeks after taking them, I was having hallucinations. They included seeing things and hearing things vividly. I was then given Zopiclone for a week by my doctor.

While I was at my trainee-ship working, I have had episodes of panic and anxiety a number of times. Nearly on every episode, it stopped me from doing daily tasks. I had to be absent, because I couldn't handle the thought of working. There was a lot of pressure put on me there, and I couldn't cope.

I know some might say, "Well, deal with it!" Ha, if only it was that simple. It's easy to say that, but when an episode hits, it's different.

I am now on a two month waiting list for cognitive behavioural therapy.

My question is, would I be able to apply for PIP (Personal independence payment, used to be known as DLA) if I have an anxiety disorder?
