Honestly, I think it's a question, but I'm not sure it's a fair one.

Everyone is here first and foremost for support in grappling with a disorder that affects their life, or the life of a loved one. Nobody is here to increase post counts. Some members stay with us for years because they find friends and a community that really does offer them support in a way that is helpful to them.

So the implication that there are some people who are not interested in getting better and just want to "post" is not a very fair one. It may apply to a tiny handful of our members, but certainly not to the vast majority.

While I'm sure the question was well-meaning, I think that perhaps it was not very empathetic or compassionate to the painful reality that many of our members face everyday.
