Hello IchbinkeinTeufel: The Skeezyks doesn't really have any particularly useful suggestions here.

Over the years, I've been on various antidepressants, sometimes in combination with other med's. Plus I've seen a few different therapists for brief periods of time. None of it was of much help.

So, in the end, I've turned to the various "self-help" techniques contained within the practice of Buddhism.

And, in keeping with those techniques, what I do in situations such as you describe is to simply strive to accept what I am feeling... with lovingkindness & compassion.
