Music is therapy for me too. I am a music snob so in all states I am very particular about what music I listen to.
However when I am mixed I am completely intolerant of music I don't like at the time (and this can vary from minute to minute). I can throw a fit to get the music changed or get away from it.
Like others when hypo I love energetic and uplifting music and when depressed I love sad music and cannot stand happy music. I am also less open to exploring new music when depressed.
Overall music is a core part of my life. I listen to it almost all the time and even play it on guitar. Without music I doubt I would survive. It can be such a comfort to me in all phases of my life.
