I can relate. My wife's cat, Lilly, died like a month ago.
She woke us up at the crack of dawn. Every day. Even weekends. No mercy.
We couldn't leave her food outside, because of King Size racoons.
They break the screen and eat all her food. Then she's foodless again. More meow.
I know I'm not a bad person, because I threw her unintentionally in the pool,
and didn't have the heart to leave her swimming. Like a 10 minute swim. Good exercise.
Now she's finally dead. For ever. Never coming back. At all. I should be sad, but I ain't.
May the Good Lord keep her in the place that she deserves. Amen.
