For me I still had a good memory on meds for a while until I got very very unwell. This series of episodes seemed to destroy my brain. The meds of course don't help and it depends which ones you are on and we all react differently to them.

My hope is that if I can remain stable for a good period of time it will give my brain time to recover. I just never had much time between episodes to recover (rapid cycling). The only treatment that definitely effected my brain was ECT. It destroys you short-term memory, and some long term ones as well. Although I did recover from it after a few months.

Sorry you are experiencing this too. :sadhugs: I really hope you can find the cause and bring healing to your beautiful mind.
