Some perscriptions take a long time (even months) to see results. Only your doctor should put you on/take you off of meds. NEVER go off without consulting her first - some meds are actually dangerous to go off of cold turkey. Also, sometimes you don't see a change that is actually occurring because it isnt' as big a change as you had hoped. There may be another "drug cocktail" that will work for you better or maybe you need to give this one more time. There are no meds that just make things all better... all they can do is help you be more "normal". Right now I am going through some hellish depression, but talking to my doc about all the stuff going on in my life, she says my reaction is actually the reaction of a healthy minded person going through this crap. I'd be much worse without them. Moral of the story is: always talk to your doc before changing ANYTHING!!!
