The Skeezyks is an older person who always struggled with feelings of having been born the wrong gender. I never did anything about it though. Back when I was young, the words transgender & transsexual hadn't even been coined yet. And the discussion of anything related to gender or sex was simply not allowed.

So I just grew up hiding & feeling warped & somehow dirty.
It's all behind me now. I'm too old for it to make any difference one way or the other. But, scratch the surface even a bit & it's still there.

So, anyway, I know something about what your son has gone through. Yes there is likely to be rough terrain ahead for your son. But having so much family support is a great blessing. I wish you all well...
