Yes, interesting article. I'm a tad suprised to hear that they're growing it commercially in Alberta. According to what I learned maybe five years ago, it grows wild in the sub-Arctic regions of North America, and can be locally quite abundant. I was actually planning a harvesting trip with a fellow Canadian, when I suffered a workplace accident, and had to call off the plan.
I'm a little sad to keep hearing about how the stuff helps with sleep, when I have a paradoxical response.
