I've had psychiatrists not taking me seriously. They had no problems prescribing me meds, and diagnosing me on paper, but then they would act like I'm imagining my MI. I've heard things like, "Why are you depressed?" or "Have you ever thought about just getting a job?" "If you had a job, you wouldn't be so depressed" "Maybe you could get someone to help you get your liscence. Then you'd be freed up and wouldn't feel so depressed."
