Dear cici19811,
I'm in my 50's now but in high school and college, I had problems with binge eating. I would tend to be "at risk" every afternoon. I think it happened, in part, because I was hungry and tired. When I do the following things, I never binge eat: Exercise (releases "feel good" chemicals, boosts my self-esteem), no drinking (excessive alcohol would make me crave greasy food the next day), continually preparing/eating healthy food (skipping breakfast set me up for binge eating episodes). My depression is also mostly better than before but I think stressers plus "bad practices" (like consuming alcohol) can be detrimental to staying "undepressed."

PS I realize you are probably suffering, in part, due to a busy schedule; just do what you can and don't beat yourself up if you fall down on occasion.
