Definitely talk to Dr and maybe close family and friends who have known you on and off meds. I know sometimes our perceptions are skewed. Sometimes it seems reasonable for me to go off meds but I know that I can't. Time/history has proven for me that go off meds, symptoms return, I can't make appropriate decisions, and if not hospitalized and put back on meds, I end up risking the lives of myself and others. So no matter how much I think I could handle life or think things might be better without meds, past experiences say no no no. I'm not saying it is that way for everyone though.
