Excluding therapy and medication, what is your first line of treatment when you're depressed? What about mania?
When I'm depressed, my first line of treatment is to eat candy. Is that weird? I love Sour Patch watermelons. I eat those a lot. Oh, and sometimes I binge watch Netflix. That's cool too.
When I'm manic, I treat myself by driving more recklessly. lol. Driving more recklessly somehow makes me feel a lot better. It's a bit counterintuitive, I must admit.
