This is how I see it: you did a great amount of work and were about to succeed. The graduation is something that suggests accomplishment. There were many people who ignored you. That makes sense. Yes I do, it is very hard for me to make and keep friends. No one seems to care about me and when I do try to talk to people, I get very anxious and even start getting alarm signals in my head that the person wants nothing to do with me or they will try to use me. So I will try to withdraw in order to do them a favor and leave them alone which is what I feel like they want me to do.
