No it didn't take long at all. 6weeks from referral to assessment and diagnosed at that appointment- I had my dad and brother write letters about my development and my only friend came with me to the assessment and was very honest about things. I had to fill in self assessment forms too.

It's weird because my daughter goes to a special needs school and it took 2 years for Paeds to diagnose her.
