I had the GP SSRI thing happen to me. Horrible.

Can you go somewhere else? What are your options? Can you pay out of pocket to get to a psychiatrist now? It would be worth it. Your GP doesn't appear qualified and making you wait is nonsensical. Bypass him to get to a psychiatrist. I hope that works ok in your country? I know it varies by country.

If you're stuck and things spiral out of control - go to the hospital emergency room.
