8 Weeks:

I'm on Vraylar 3mg a day for the better part of two months and it seems to be going well.

I don't feel GREAT at this time but I do feel so much better and clearheaded. I am starting to get motivated to tackle more complex tasks...this means a lot to me. i.e I have a recording studio that is very complex with cables everywhere (ocd organized though!) and I am managing to wrap my mind around the schematics again. I'm doing some programming that I couldn't before.

All that being said, I feel like I really need to get on the ball and get my life improved and fast....my pdoc said that I was just becoming clearer and "waking up" and having normal emotions about my situation which I am grateful for overall but I want to feel even better. She says I'll get there.

Feedback from others is positive overall regarding my moods and actions. I'm more elated but not manic. People say they hear it in my voice.

No side effects that I can tell. No memory or cognitive problems...libido returned to a baseline....no weight gain.

I also take Prozac 20mg and Valium(PRN). I only sleep about five hours a night right now and I still take Tylenol PM and Valium to help me sleep. Generic Lunesta didn't work. Name brand did. I hope that doesn't happen with Vraylar...but I think the patent will keep that from happening for a bit.

I'm grateful insurance pays for all of it for me as it is over $1100 for 30 x 3mg caps. Latuda and Saphris were expensive too and insurance covered that too. I've taken all of those this last 18 months or so. Vraylar is better for me than anything else I've been on. In fact, because there's no side effects and side effects from other drugs have gone away, it feels like I'm getting to be my old self again.

Thanks for the feedback folks. I'll keep posting once in a while.
