I'm sorry you are going through this. I had ankle reconstruction surgery 2 years ago and was on bedrest for 6 weeks. I was casted or booted for 4.5 months and it was really hard. During the later part of bedrest I would ride along when my mom did errands even though I had to stay in the car with my foot elevated just to get out of the house.

The internet was my best friend. So were books once I was off pain meds.
