Best to know if someone will be there through the rough times, someone who isn't afraid of the less-pretty expressions of mental illness.
Feel cinema really does m.i. some disservice - it's either beautiful people with pained expressions, or the rough hobo killer, yelling obscenities. M.I. can be messy and frustrating, the meds can make you fat, bald, and zitty (my brief experience with one antipsych gave me a bald patch like Ben Franklin and a fat ***** to match!

Actually had a psychology professor say that if the class wanted an accurate depiction of Borderline disorder, watch "Fatal Attraction"! (??!!??)
anyway, pulling way off topic- good on you for taking care of yourself to get the help you need.
